- What is really important for Jesus is the integrity of our hearts.
- I may not be obsessed with strict dietary laws like Jesus’ listeners, but what superficial concerns preoccupy me? It is good to acknowledge them because they may be holding m heart back.
- Jesus wants to challenge me but he also is there to support me.

100th ANNIVERSARY OF BUCKINGHAM HOSPITAL - NOW THE PAPINEAU HOSPIAL:
This will be celebrated with tours of the hospital on September 16th & 17th, and a Mass at 10:30 AM at St Gregory’s Church on the 17th followed by a Brunch. There are historical exhibitions available at the Museum. More information to follow.
IRISH DANCE LESSONS:
The Trillium Irish Dance Academy of Ottawa will be offering Irish Dance classes in Buckingham, starting in September 2006. The classes will be taught by accredited Irish dance teachers Kathleen Maher Coyle and Patty Scanlon Fleury.

BUCKINGHAM ELEMENTARY SCHOOL CEREAL DRIVE:
The committees of the Buckingham Elementary School wish to thank Our Lady of Victory Parish for your support of the cereal bar drive during the past years and wish to ask your continued support with the drive this year.
